In this role, job responsibilities were ensuring proper operation of all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment on campus. This included performing operations such as isolation and startup of various systems including medium/low voltage distribution panels, breakers, UPS, generators, STS, ATS, AHU, DX, chillers, CRAC units, fuel, BMS, and EPMS systems.

As an electro-mechanic, my job responsibilities included working with various electrical components, as well as maintaining, repairing, installing, and testing three phase motors, commutators, and other electrical equipment. This position also included updating manufacturing records and compiling installation reports through the use of computerized maintenance management systems and SAP.

Across three positions, my responsibilities included identifying discrepancies between customer requirements and finished products, testing and troubleshooting complex low voltage electronics and electrical switchgear while comparing colors, shapes, textures, and grades of materials to verify conformance to standards. Additional duties included improving quality assurance procedures to minimize errors and increase overall effectiveness of inspections, adhering to standardized software quality assurance best practices.

As an industrial mechanic, job duties entailed performing maintenance on powered industrial equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. This included corrugators, compression, dust, and vacuum systems, as well as precision cutters, pullers, and cooling systems. The maintenance includes tasks such as changing oil, replacing damaged parts, and performing preventative maintenance.
